Power to the People – Excellent ideas from Tom Saunders of NESTA

Tom Saunders of NESTA has written an excellent post: Power to the people: how cities can use digital technology to engage and empower citizens. It recommends four strategies:

1. Resist the temptation to build an app;
2. Think about what you want to engage citizens for;
3. Remember there’s a world beyond the internet; and,
4. Pick the right question for the right crowd.

The post discusses these recommendations and provides examples. Well worth reading.
